SUPPORTIVE HOUSING

The Lowell House
The Lowell House provides a semi-independent living environment just a block away from the Outpatient Program. Residents at Lowell include those who are ready to make a transition from a highly structured residential program to independent living.
The Lowell House offers shared housing in a beautiful home featuring hardwood floors, Persian rugs, wall mounted HDTV, individual and shared bedrooms with internet access and cable TV. All residents attend our Outpatient Program located on California Avenue just a few miles away.
Staff Supervision is offered at Lowell on a daily basis. All meals are provided as staff coordinate cooking meals with the residents. On site staff focus on teaching and developing independent living skills with our residents. The Program Director meets with Lowell residents on a weekly basis to discuss discharge planning and problem solving. Residents share successes in a mutually supportive environment. The length of stay at Lowell ranges from short term (month by month) to long term.
Cost of the Lowell House runs about a third of the cost of the Residential Treatment Program.

Echo Apartments
La Selva offers supportive housing at our Echo apartments. This is an alternative residence after a stay at La Selva's residential program. Echo apartments are located down the street from the residential program in Palo Alto. Tenants are offered different levels of support based on need. It allows them to stay connected to our residential community with access to our Outpatient. Program located on California Avenue a few miles away. All tenants at the La Selva apartments are connected to the La Selva community. Length of stay may be short or long term determined by the needs of our tenants.
