RESIDENTIAL
La Selva Residential is an innovative program that offers individual treatment and 24-hour support in a quiet, community setting. In addition to psychiatric and psychosocial treatment services, clients benefit from a creative, participative living experience that encourages communication and the development of personal insight and positive relationships. La Selva residential program is licensed by the California State Department of Social services (#435200383) and certified by the California State Department of Mental Health.
DUAL RECOVERY
La Selva's Middlefield Dual Recovery Program offers a specialized, comprehensive system of individualized care to help patients understand these issues and help them in their recovery. Their recovery depends on integrating treatment for both chemical dependency and mental health issues.
SUPPORTIVE HOUSING
La Selva offers supportive housing at our Echo apartments and the Lowell House. Residents here stay connected to the La Selva community as they live independently down the street from our residential facility.
OUT PATIENT
La Selva offers several levels of out patient services: Discovery Day Program services with options to participate full- and part-time at our California Avenue location. Extended Counseling and Healthcare Option (ECHO) designed to assist residential clients transitioning to out patient care to continue their relationships with counselors from the residential program with services coordinated with psychiatrists and therapists from the community. Echo care for clients who live in the Echo apartments near our residential facility in Palo Alto.
FAMILY & ALUMNI
La Selva hosts bimonthly opportunities for family members of current and former clients to come together, share experiences, ask questions and learn from each other. In addition, an alumni group brings former clients together through weekly evening social activities, offering continuity to our community of individuals who have moved on in there journey to health.
