OUT PATIENT SERVICES

La Selva's Out Patient Program is located on California Avenue in Palo Alto just a few miles from our residential facility and echo apartments. This downtown neighborhood includes patio style restaurants, unique shopping boutiques and professional services on a beautiful tree lined street. We are also located around the corner from the California Avenue Caltrain train station. Many of our clients utilize Caltrans to attend our programs.

Goals of our out patient program include empowering clients to reach their maximum level of functioning and secondly to promote healthy individualization from family.

Out Patient services include:

• Discovery Day Program



• Individual and group counseling



• Psycho-educational day treatment



• Dual Diagnosis services with drug testing. "Dual Diagnosis" refers to the tendency of psychological and behavioral conditions to accompany substance abuse



• Dialectic behavioral therapy



• Student Support, we partner with local colleges and universities



• Employment support services



• Social activities



• Case management



• Family support groups



• Alumni/aftercare support services



• Option to continue with own psychiatrist or use psychiatry services provided by La Selva
